Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Part of a landslide body, namely its division plane. It exposes an accumulation of coarse-grained clasts, belonging to the pyroclastic rocks possibly of lahar genesis. Geomorphologically interesting, also significant from the viewpoint of engineering geology.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Tertiary - Basins under Krušné hory Mts.and adjoining volcanic uplands
Stratigraphy: kenozoikum - terciér (paleogén - neogén)
